👨‍🍳 Built by an organiser, for organisers

From spreadsheet chaos to planning in minutes

After years of organizing running dinners myself with endless spreadsheets, duplicate guests and wrong routes, I built this tool. Everything I ran into is now built in as standard.

Everything you need

Every feature was born from a problem I encountered while organizing. No unnecessary bells and whistles — only what you really need.

🗺️

Smart route planning

My biggest frustration: guests ending up with the same tablemates three times in a row. The algorithm now automatically ensures everyone meets as many new people as possible — dietary requirements included.

✉️

Print envelope cards

The best idea I ever had: guests receive a sealed envelope with the next address at each course. The route stays a surprise. Now you can print them with a single click.

👥

Manage participants

Who's vegetarian? Who has a nut allergy? Who can't make the main course? I used to forget something every time. Now you record everything per participant — partner included.

🔀

Drag & drop adjustments

Sometimes you want to tweak things manually — those two neighbours shouldn't be at the same table, or perhaps the new residents should sit together. Drag guests between tables and see the effect instantly.

📊

Overview per location

Every host wants to know: who's coming, and how many? You can send this overview straight away — saves a lot of last-minute messages on the day itself.

🏠

Pre-dinner & after-party drinks

The first time I forgot to include the pre-dinner drinks in my plan. Never again: set a central location and the planner automatically factors it into the schedule.

Done in 4 steps

What used to take me an entire evening now takes half an hour. Four steps, done.

1

Configure your event

Set up the course structure: which courses are there, who hosts the pre/after-party drinks, and how many guests per table.

2

Enter participants

Add participants with name, address, dietary requirements and availability. Or import via an Excel template.

3

Generate the plan

The planner automatically calculates the optimal seating arrangement. Afterwards, make manual adjustments via drag & drop if needed.

4

Print & enjoy

Print the envelope cards and the overview. Ready to enjoy a successful running dinner!

Frequently asked questions

What is a running dinner?

A running dinner (also known as a progressive dinner or safari supper) is a social event where participants eat each course at a different host's home. That way, everyone meets new people in a relaxed atmosphere.

Can I try it for free before paying?

Yes! With the free demo you play with 12 sample couples and see exactly how the planner works — automatic table layouts, routes and envelope cards. No account or payment needed. Try the demo →

How many participants can I add?

There is no hard limit. The planner works optimally with 12 to 120 participants, which covers most running dinner events.

How are the routes calculated?

The planner uses a smart algorithm that minimises overlap in tablemates. Each participant meets the widest possible variety of fellow guests throughout the evening.

Can I import participants from Excel?

Yes! You can download an Excel template with all columns (name, address, dietary requirements, availability, etc.), fill it in and import it. Saves a lot of time.

How do the envelope cards work?

For each table, a card is printed per course with the next address. Guests may only open the envelope at the end of the course — so the route stays a surprise until the very last moment.

How long is my subscription valid?

Your subscription is valid for 1 year from the payment date. You can easily renew it afterwards.

Which payment methods are accepted?

You can pay via iDEAL, credit card (Visa/Mastercard) or SEPA direct debit. After payment you'll immediately receive an invoice by email.

Is my data stored?

Your account details (email, password) are stored securely. As a logged-in user your event (participants, settings and planning) is automatically saved to your account, so you can continue on any device; you can delete it yourself at any time. In the free demo everything stays in your browser only. See the privacy policy for details.
